According to this year's Swedish edition of SHE Index, Clas Ohlson has achieved a score of 81/100 in gender equality. This result is categorised as ‘very high’.
SHE Index is a voluntary survey that measures how companies perform in terms of gender balance, gender equality policies and diversity and inclusion.
"It's great that our gender equality work gets high marks. Our goal is to have fifty percent women and men at all levels, and it's great to be able to highlight this during May, which is Diversity Month in the EU," says Maria Thulemark, HR Manager Business Support.
In 2023/2024, the proportion of women at Clas Ohlson is 48 per cent and men 52 per cent. In Group Management, the distribution is 57 per cent women and 43 per cent men.
"At managerial level, we see that we are not as equal as we should be, 39 per cent women and 61 per cent men, so earlier this year we started a mentorship programme for women to encourage and empower women in leadership roles," says Maria.
