We are one of Sweden's most equal companies!

Every year, the Allbright foundation reviews how gender equal Swedish listed companies are, and Clas Ohlson is on its ‘green list’ also in 2024.

The companies in Allbright's lists (green, yellow and red) have been ranked according to their proximity to a 50/50 distribution between men and women in this order of priority:
  1. proportion of women in the management team
  2. proportion of women in line positions in the management team
  3. proportion of women on the board
“It is an obvious strength to have an equal management team. We work actively with gender equality and diversity in the company, and we want to reflect our customers, simply because it benefits the business,” says Tina Englyst, HR and Sustainability Director.
 
“For example, we aim to have an equal distribution of women and men at all levels. We're not there yet, but we're consciously working on it. Our latest major initiative is a mentorship programme for women that we implemented this spring, with the aim of getting more female managers and leaders,” says Tina.
 
Clas Ohlson was also on the green list also in 2023, 2021, 2020 and 2019.
