Customers showed great interest when Clas Ohlson's new store in Tynset, Norway, opened this morning. The store is Clas Ohlson's first in northern Østerdalen, where Tynset is located.
"This area has previously been a blank spot for us, and we know we've been eagerly awaited in this part of Norway. Now we're reaching new customers who previously had a long way to the nearest Clas Ohlson store," says Rune Johansen, Country Operations Manager.
Tynset is a commercial centre for the northern parts of Østerdalen in central Norway, and Clas Ohlson's new store is well located at the entrance to Tynset. The sales area is 978 square meters.
"We are getting a store where we can offer Clas Ohlson's full range of products for home fixing. At this time of year, we are of course also putting a lot of effort into everything you need for Christmas," says Rune Johansen.
The store opening is Clas Ohlson's fourth in Norway during the calendar year 2024. Next week, a new store will also open in Fredrikstad and in November, Clas Ohlson will open its 100th store in Norway, in Egersund in southwestern Norway.
Clas Ohlson now has 236 stores, with 101 in Sweden, 98 in Norway, and 37 in Finland.
