Clas Ohlson's new store on Kullagatan in Helsingborg in Sweden is now open, marking the company's return to the city centre. There was significant interest when the store opened on Tuesday morning.

"We know we are highly appreciated in Helsingborg. It feels fantastic to be able to return to the city centre after four years. With our two stores, it will be convenient for the people of Helsingborg to find what they need for their home fixing," says Andreas Helgesson, Country Operations Manager.

Clas Ohlson's previous store in central Helsingborg closed in 2020, and since then, Clas Ohlson has only had one store in the Helsingborg area; in Väla, just outside the city centre. The new store on Kullagatan is located in a former shopping mall that has been remodelled with separate store entrances facing the street. The store has a sales area of 1,131 square meters.

"The store will be a good complement to our other store in Helsingborg. We will offer a wide and affordable range of products, including storage and cleaning products, technology products, and products for building and repairing. We know that many people have missed being able to buy many of these products in central Helsingborg," says Andreas Helgesson.

The store opening in Helsingborg is Clas Ohlson's ninth store opening in 2024, with an additional seven new stores planned for the year. Among these is Clas Ohlson's new store in Boglundsängen in Örebro, which will become the 100th store on the Swedish market. In Norway, Clas Ohlson will also reach 100 stores during the autumn.

In total, Clas Ohlson now has 233 stores distributed as follows: Sweden: 99, Norway: 96, and Finland: 38.
