Today Clas Ohlson opened its new store in the popular shopping centre in Alstertal in the north of Hamburg. The store is Clas Ohlson's third store on the German market and the Group’s 212th store.
The new Clas Ohlson store in Alstertal in Hamburg opened earlier today in the traditional manner with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, folk music from Sweden and great opening customer offers.
“We are very pleased to see so many customers here today and that there is such great interest for what we have to offer,” says Peter Jelkeby, Vice President of Clas Ohlson.
Clas Ohlson’s new store is located in the largest shopping centre in Hamburg, Alstertal, and has a sales space of approximately 1,100 square meters. The catchment area is approximately 220,000 inhabitants. Clas Ohlson already has two stores in Hamburg, and can since October also offer e-commerce on the German market.

We are already located in central Hamburg and in Altona in the western part of the city and as of today, we have the opportunity to become more accessible to our customers here in the northeast of Hamburg,” says Peter Jelkeby.
Clas Ohlson offers its customers an omni-channel experience with e-commerce and more than 200 stores in six markets. In the financial year 2016/17, Clas Ohlson plans to establish 3-8 new stores net.
