Stains can be removed, for example, with a shoe stain remover, or by using a wet cloth and a paste made of water and sodium bicarbonate to gently rub the stain. First test on a nonvisible place in the shoe that the material can withstand the treatment. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth.
If the shoe is worm at the heel, you can use a repair patch, and if there's a bad odour in the shoe, there are many different methods to work with:
"For example, you can use bags of cedar wood, which helps to remove bad odours. Cedar wood can also help to control insect pests such as moths or fur beetles. You can also spray your shoes with an odour remover, we have a new one in our range that I think works really well," says Monica Mathisen, Product Manager.
You can also try bathing your shoes with a mixture of vinegar and water, if the material can handle it.
"Shoes need to be cared for regularly to keep textiles and leather in top condition. There are many good products for this on the market. If you give your things a bit of love, they will last longer," says Monica.
