Clas Ohlson has opened a new store in the city of Farsund, Norway. Situated in the Amfi shopping centre, the store has direct access to the waterfront with parking for boats which is epecially popular among cabin owners in the area.
Country manager Geir Hoff opened yet another store in Norway today.
“There are many people here today and there has been a good buzz in the city for days. On Tuesday we left a big amount of leaflets outside our shop, two hours later the stands where empty. There is a big interest for Clas Ohlson here.”
Farsund is a proud city.
“The people of Farsund are proud of their city and their centre. Other stores that have opened in this centre say that the people of Farsund shop locally. There is a proudness, but also toll roads surround the city. This also contributes to local shopping.”
Clas Ohlson’s new store has a sales space of approximately 1,000 square metres. The catchment area is approximately 18,000 inhabitants and 2,000 cabin owners. The centre offers boat parking for 100-200 boats.
With the new store in Farsund, Clas Ohlson offers its customers an omni-channel experience with e-commerce and more than 200 stores in six markets.
