Sales rose 11% in March to SEK 366 m (330). Compared with the same month in 2008, 20 stores have been added and the total number of stores on 31 March 2009 was 103. Of the total sales during the month, stores accounted for SEK 358 m (322) and mail order/Internet for SEK 8 m (8). Sales by country were distributed as follows: Sweden & UK: SEK 184 m (181) +2% Norway: SEK 151 m (124) +22% Finland: SEK 31m (25) +21% Calendar effects have had a positive influence on sales compared to the previous year when Easter occurred in March. The exact effect is difficult to calculate but is estimated to a positive effect of approximately 5-6%. Total sales during the 11 month period (May 2008–March 2009) increased by 6% to SEK 4,583 m (4,340). The year-end report for 2008/09 will be published on 11 June 2009.
