Clas Ohlson has entered into an Agreement for Lease pertaining to a new store in Watford, UK. The store will be located in the Harlequin Shopping Centre in central Watford. The primary catchment area for the store comprises 236,000 inhabitants and the store is scheduled to open in December 2009. Retail space in the store will total 1,035 square metres. Future store establishments that have been contracted to date are: Frölunda, Sweden, as well as Molde and Steinkjer, Norway, in October 2009; Bryne, Norway, in November 2009; Reading, UK, in November 2009, Kingston and Watford, UK, in December 2009; Hageby (Norrköping),Sweden, in December 2009; Lillehammer, Norway, during the autumn 2009 to spring 2010 period; Norrtälje, Sweden, in spring 2010; Lambertseter (Oslo), Norway, in autumn 2010; Uppsala (Gränby),Sweden, in March 2011; Bodø, Norway, in November 2011 and Malmö (Emporia), Sweden, during the 2011/2012 financial year. Clas Ohlson plans to open 15-20 new stores during the 2009/2010 financial year, of which between four and eight in the UK. With currently 108 stores and 14 contracted stores, Clas Ohlson will have a total of 122 stores, of which 57 in Sweden, 44 in Norway, 16 in Finland and five in the UK.
