“We test and quality-check all our products before they reach the stores. What our customers buy should work well, have good value, and be safe to use,” says Henrik Alfredsson, Product & Quality Compliance Manager.
Extensive safety and quality work is carried out before a new product is added to the range:
“Our compliance specialists ensure that all products meet the required standards for product safety, chemicals, and materials. Our product technicians test for safety and functionality, while our purchasing teams make sure we only source products that meet every requirement,” says Henrik.
At our laboratory in Insjön, our technicians put products through rigorous testing, taking them apart, inspecting components, testing electrical safety, checking electromagnetic compatibility, and assessing performance. The lab even has a climate chamber to simulate different weather conditions.
“We also test in real-life situations. Whether it’s frying pancakes or drilling, our products need to perform well,” says Henrik.
When needed, tests are also conducted at independent laboratories.
“Once a product is available for customers, we continuously monitor feedback to make sure it maintains the quality our customers expect. We believe in our products, and shopping with us should always feel safe,” says Henrik Alfredsson.
