Clas Ohlson Foundation

The Clas Ohlson Foundation was founded in 2017 by members of the Ek Tidstrand and Haid families, descendants of Clas Ohlson and also majority shareholders of the company Clas Ohlson AB.

Clas Ohlson supports and is represented on the Board of Directors of The Clas Ohlson Foundation. The foundation is non-profit-making and is a separate entity from the company Clas Ohlson.

The aim of the foundation is to honour the memory of Clas Ohlson by supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in Dalarna County, giving young people access to education and helping people in need.

The Clas Ohlson Foundation supports Ung Företagsamhet (the Swedish branch of Junior Achievement), the school in Insjön (Dalarna) and Save the Children.
