The collaboration between Clas Ohlson and MatHem has produced great results. Today, every 10th order on MatHem.se contains a product from Clas Ohlson.
In December last year, Clas Ohlson invested in MatHem and an agreement for a strategic collaboration was signed. One year later, the collaboration is flourishing.
There are approximately 1,500 Clas Ohlson products for sale on MatHem.se and recently more than every 10th order contains a Clas Ohlson product. This is something that both MatHem and Clas Ohlson are happy with, as several of MatHem’s customers shop for groceries at MatHem on a weekly basis. Some of the best-selling products are tea lights, batteries, dinner candles, string lights and wreaths for Christmas.
“It is fantastic that every 10th customer has a Clas Ohlson product in their shopping basket – this proves that the product range is relevant and is appreciated by our customers, ” says Karolin Kull, Founder and Marketing Manager at MatHem.se. “Together with our suppliers, we want to offer convenience; customers get what they need at a delivery time that suits them.”
“We have created a flexible solution for complementing the stock that we have at MatHem, now that we have broadened our offer to also include an array of durable goods,” says Fredrik Uhrbom, Country Manager for Clas Ohlson Sweden. “Three Clas Ohlson stores in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö work as logistic hubs where we pick and deliver goods to MatHem’s central storage facility for further delivery to customers.”
Clas Ohlson and MatHem have created a joint Swedish Christmas advertising campaign this year, building on Clas Ohlson’s Merry Stress Free Christmas campaign.
“Merry Stress Free Christmas is about making Christmas as stress-free as possible for our customers. For instance, through our collaboration with MatHem, where we offer customers in Sweden everything they need for Christmas, delivered to their home on the same day or the day after,” says Fredrik Uhrbom.
